The Alan Way Trophy is a prestigious 36-hole individual strokeplay competition held at Woodcote Park Golf Club in Surrey. This event is part of the Surrey Mens Golf Order of Merit and is open to male golfers with a maximum handicap of 9. The field is limited to 72 players. The entry fee of £90 covers coffee on arrival, a buffet luncheon, and prizes. Players are encouraged to stay for the prize presentation at approximately 6:30 PM. Entry forms and payment (by card or BACS) should be sent to the pro shop at pro@woodcotepgc.com. The closing date for entries is Sunday 6th September 2026. In the event of a tie, a sudden death playoff will be held on the 1st and 18th holes; all other ties will be decided by countback over the last 18, 9, 6, and 3 holes. No player may win more than one prize, and recipients must be present at the prize-giving to claim their award.
