The North Country Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Chitose, Hokkaido, just 15 minutes from New Chitose Airport. Designed by renowned Japanese golfer Isao Aoki as his masterpiece, the course blends Scottish traditions with modern American design methodology. As Japan's first all-bent grass course, it features a relatively flat layout with only five meters of elevation change, showcasing the natural terrain. The course emphasizes strategic shot-making through depth and routing options rather than artificial hazards. Eight water features are integrated throughout, with the final three holes notably featuring water as a prominent design element.
