Planet Golf is a recurring 9-hole individual strokeplay competition held at Golfclub Habichtswald e.V. on Wednesdays throughout the 2026 season. The event is open to all golfers with a handicap of up to 53. Tee-off is at 16:00 (16:30 from May onwards). Registration can be made via golf.de or by entering one's name on the notice board in the clubhouse. Scores are recorded as strokeplay in accordance with the German Golf Association rules. An entry fee (Nenngeld) is required and must be paid before the start of the competition. The maximum handicap for entry is 53.

Originally established as a corporate golf club and known as Velper Golf Club, the course has operated its current layout since 2002.
