The Friday Skins Game is a weekly individual competition open to all golf members and guests at Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club. The 2026 season runs every Friday from April 10 to August 21, 2026, with the July 31 event scheduled for a 7:36 a.m. tee time. Players must book their own tee time and tee off by 1 p.m. The weekly buy-in is $55 (cash only), with $50 going into the net skins game pot and $5 contributing to the end-of-season finale. The skins game is played at full handicap with a ½ stroke reduction (e.g., a 10-handicap player receives 5 strokes on their hardest 10 holes). All players must have a current GHIN handicap number or will play at 0 handicap. Guests are subject to the 6-round limit and normal guest fees apply. A minimum of 2 players per group is required. Tee assignments are based on age and gender: men under 50 play the Blue tees; men 50+ may play Blue or White; men 70+ may play Blue, White, or Green. Ladies under 70 play the Green tees or front combo (Green and Gold); ladies 70+ may also play the Gold tees. A running FedEx Cup-style point system tracks season-long performance: 1 point for playing, 5 points for a net skin, and 20 points for a hole-in-one. The top 20 points leaders from the regular season (minimum 4 weeks played) are invited to the End of Season Finale on September 5, 2026, with a $100 buy-in and 1 p.m. shotgun start.
