The James Braid Mixed Pairs Open is an 18-hole mixed better ball stableford event held at Henley Golf Club on Wednesday 2 September 2026. Players compete from the Yellow tees (men) and Red tees (ladies) with a handicap allowance of 85%. The winning pair is the one with the highest better ball stableford score; ties are decided on countback. Starting times are from 09:00. Entry fee is £125 per pair, which includes a coffee and bacon roll before play and a two-course lunch after the round. Both players must be playing members of a recognised golf club holding a WHS handicap at the time of application and on the day of the competition, and both must be of amateur status. The event is open to men and ladies. Maximum playing handicap is 24 for men and 30 for women. The event is now fully booked (72/72 entries).
