The James Braid Mixed Pairs Open is held at Henley Golf Club (Harpsden, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire) on Wednesday 2 September 2026. The competition is an 18-hole mixed better ball stableford event played from the Yellow tees (men) and Red tees (ladies), with a handicap allowance of 85%. Maximum playing handicap is 24 for men and 30 for women. Starting times are from 09:00. Entry fee is £125 per pair. Catering includes a coffee and bacon roll before play and a two-course lunch after the round. The winning pair is the one with the highest better ball stableford score; ties are decided on countback. Entries close at midnight on 16 August 2026. Both players must be playing members of a recognised golf club holding a WHS handicap at the time of application and on the day of the competition, and both must be of amateur status.
