The Oak Harbor Gators Third Monday Tournament is a monthly team golf event held at Oak Harbor Golf Club in Slidell, Louisiana, on the 3rd Monday of each month. The event is open to men and women with a verifiable handicap. Players may sign up as a team or as singles, twosomes, or threesomes. The format is a four-person team competition using the best 2 of 4 balls scoring method (net score). In the event of teams having only three players, a blind draw from the tournament roster will determine those teams' scores; players selected as blind draws may not win prizes on both teams, only the team receiving the largest prize money. The shotgun start is at 8:30 AM, with show time at 7:30 AM for sign-in. Coffee and donuts are served during morning sign-in, and lunch is provided after the tournament. Oak Harbor Golf Club is an 18-hole championship layout located in Slidell, Louisiana, approximately 25 minutes from downtown New Orleans near the I-10 Interstate. Since opening in 1992, the course has earned recognition for excellence in conditioning and service, achieving a 4.5-star rating from Golf Digest Places to Play and a reputation as the top semi-private course in the New Orleans area. The course features a championship design with manicured conditions maintained to consistently high standards.
