The Oak Harbor Gators Third Monday Tournament is a recurring monthly event held on the third Monday of each month at Oak Harbor Golf Course in Slidell, Louisiana. The tournament is open to both men and women who hold a verifiable handicap. Players may enter as singles, twosomes, threesomes, or as a four-person team. The format is a four-person team competition where the best two net scores from each team count on every hole. The event features a shotgun start at 8:30 AM, with sign-in and registration beginning at 7:30 AM. Coffee, donuts, and practice balls are provided during morning sign-in, and lunch is served after the tournament. The entry fee is $20 for Oak Harbor Golf Club members with a cart plan included in their membership, and $40 for all other players. The fee includes golf, cart, practice balls, coffee, donuts, lunch, and prizes. Sign-ups can be made by contacting Mike Jones at 985-960-1560 or via email at mikeparj@bellsouth.net. In the event that some teams have fewer than four players, a blind draw will be used from the tournament roster to complete teams; players selected via blind draw may only win prizes on the team they are assigned to.
