Meckatzer Cup

The Meckatzer Cup is an open individual stableford competition held over 18 holes at Golfclub Waldegg-Wiggensbach e.V. on Saturday, 18th July 2026, with a cannon start at 10:00 AM. The event is open to all German amateurs who are members of a DGV or VcG-affiliated club, as well as foreign amateurs who are members of a national golf federation with a handicap index of up to 54.0. Guests can enter by paying a tournament green fee of €45.00 (members pay €40.00). The entry fee includes an evening meal (main course and dessert) and a drink station at hole A5 and a Weißwurst station at the clubhouse. Players play from the yellow or blue tees (recommended for handicap index up to 36.0) or red or orange tees (recommended for handicap index 36.1–54.0). Scoring is by gross for ladies and gentlemen separately, and net for all players combined in three classes: Class A (0.0–20.0), Class B (20.1–36.0), and Class C (36.1–54.0). Players are grouped by high, medium, and low handicap. The entry deadline is Thursday, 16th July 2026 at 6:00 PM, with written entries accepted at the clubhouse, via the club intranet, or by email to info@golf-wiggensbach.de. Prizes are awarded for gross winners (ladies and gentlemen), top three finishers in each net class, and longest drive and nearest to the pin for both ladies and gentlemen.
