Men’s Day

Men's Day is an individual golf competition held at Golfclub Waldegg-Wiggensbach e.V. on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, starting at 13:30. The event is played over 18 holes on the Illertal/Panorama courses (B/A) with Maximum Score net scoring (Netto-Doppelbogey) and gross strokeplay evaluation with Course Rating adjustment. Players play from the yellow or blue tees (recommended for handicaps up to 36.0: yellow; handicaps 36.1–54.0: blue). The field is limited to 52 players. Entry is open to all German amateur golfers from DGV-affiliated clubs, VCG members, and international amateur golfers from affiliated national golf unions with a maximum handicap of 54.0. Visitors (non-members) can enter for €60, which includes green fee, start fee, and catering. Entry can be made via the clubhouse signup list, intranet, phone (08370-93073), email (info@golf-wiggensbach.de), or the Club in One 4U app. Entries close on Monday 10 August 2026 at 18:00; late entries up to 1 hour before the start are possible. Prizes are awarded for gross and net results, plus special evaluations for longest drive and nearest to the pin. A birdie pool (100% payout) is also offered. Catering includes a tee-off snack (muesli bar/banana/apple), halfway house Swiss sausage salad/pasta salad with baguette, one free beer on return (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), and an evening meal of beef goulash with homemade spätzle (vegetarian option available).
