Mercedes Benz After Work Golf-Cup

The Mercedes-Benz After Work Golf Cup is a 9-hole individual stableford competition held on weekdays as part of a nationwide series across over 200 golf courses in Germany. The 2026 event at Golf Club Schloß Klingenburg takes place on Monday, 27 July 2026, with start times from the early afternoon (typically from 17:00). The event is open to all amateur golfers holding a valid handicap from the DGV (Deutscher Golf Verband) or a national golf association. Registration is exclusively online via www.awgc.de; direct registration at the club is not possible. There is a joint gross and net scoring for men and women, with prizes for 1st place gross and 1st-3rd places net, plus a Hole-in-One prize. Participants are entered into draws for weekly, monthly, and annual prizes, with total prize values exceeding €250,000 for the season. The minimum number of participants required is 16. Players are grouped by handicap index in mixed groups (high-low-mixed). Play is conducted under the official Rules of Golf of the Deutscher Golf Verband e.V. and the World Handicap System (WHS). Tee shots are from tees with a Course Rating of 72.0 as closely as possible. Tie-breaks are decided by the best scores on the last 6, 3, and 1 holes (net, with handicap allowance); if still tied, a draw is made.
