The Big Cup 3 Tournament is a two-person team best-shot competition held at Lake Pepin Golf Course on Saturday, September 5, 2026. Teams may sign up as twosomes or foursomes. The format uses an 8-inch cup on the back 9, with players playing from their normal tees for the first 9 holes and then back a set of tees for the second 9. The tournament accommodates 52 teams with tee times scheduled from 8:00-10:00 AM and 12:30-2:30 PM. Results are announced the following day. The event features difficult pin placements and best-shot scoring. Entry is via email to golflakepepin@gmail.com.

Lake Pepin Golf Course is located in Lake City, Minnesota, situated high atop the bluffs of the Mississippi River Valley with views overlooking Lake Pepin. Designed by Gordon Emerson, the championship course stretches to 6,752 yards from the blue tees and features four tee box options: red (5,242 yards), gold (5,409 yards), white (6,231 yards), and blue (6,752 yards). The course is notable for offering breathtaking views of Lake Pepin on 12 of its holes, blending the rugged landscape of the lake with the windswept terrain characteristic of Minnesota bluff country. The layout provides a terrific golf experience with scenic vistas throughout the round. Beyond golf, the facility offers three event venue options including an enclosed Pavilion with capacity for 325 people and a Clubhouse with cedar-vaulted ceilings and cathedral-style windows. The course is family-owned and operated by the Schmidt Family.
