Golf-Club Ingolstadt is an 18-hole parkland course located in western Ingolstadt, founded in 1977 and expanded to 18 holes approximately 20 years later, with partial reconstruction in 2005. The course features numerous water hazards integrated into the natural landscape, set on relatively flat terrain that creates a park-like setting with flower meadows, biotopes, and lake scenery. The signature 18th hole is a challenging par-5 at 452 meters requiring precision and tactical skill, characteristic of the course's overall design that demands accuracy despite offering both tight fairways and open playing corridors. The layout incorporates deep bunkers strategically positioned around greens and water hazards that present significant obstacles to aggressive play. The course maintains excellent conditioning standards with dedicated greenkeeping care. Practice facilities including a driving range, putting green, and bunker practice area are located near the modernized clubhouse, which features a terrace overlooking holes 1 and 18, allowing players to review their rounds after play.
