The Woodbury Open is a scratch and handicap individual strokeplay tournament held at Woodbury Golf Course. The event takes place on a Saturday with a 12 PM shotgun start over 18 holes. The tournament is open to anyone — no pre-registration is required; players simply show up ready to play at 11:00 AM. There are separate scratch and handicap divisions, with trophies awarded to winners in each. A junior flight is also included. Players may bring a handicap from another course, or those who frequently play at Woodbury may already have a handicap on file. Participants can also submit four 9-hole scores from Woodbury Golf Course to establish a handicap for the event. The entry fee is $35 for members and $40 for non-members. Prizes are provided for everyone, along with food and refreshments.
