The Wednesday Qualifier is a weekly individual stableford competition held every Wednesday from May to September at Mitchelstown Golf Club. Open to all golfers with a recognised GUI handicap. Entry fee is €30. Each week, the top three finishers qualify for the September Final. A closest the pin shoot-out runs alongside every round as a separate competition. The September Final offers €1,000 in prizes and a €500 shoot-out competition. Entry can be made online through the club's booking system. Players must register and pay on the day in the clubhouse, where payment can be made by cash or credit/debit card. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies and soft spikes must be worn.
