GC Salzkammergut Cup

The GC Salzkammergut Cup is a series of individual stableford tournaments held throughout the year at Golfclub Salzkammergut in St. Wolfgang, Austria. Each tournament is played as a single 18-hole WHI-relevant stableford competition under the official Golf Rules, ÖGV handicap rules, and applicable ÖGV competition regulations. The event is open to all amateur golfers who are members of a golf club affiliated with the ÖGV or an international national golf association, with a maximum handicap (WHI) of 54. The field is limited to 120 players. Entry fees are €15 for club members and €60 for guests (non-members). A one-time participation fee of €50 is required to enter the overall annual ranking. The entry deadline is 12:00 on the day of the tournament (July 19, 2026). Players can register online via the Austrian Golf Federation website, by email to office@salzkammergut-golf.at, or by phone at +43 6132 26340. Tee times must be booked separately online, and desired start times are possible for groups of at least two players. Scorecards are collected at the club secretary's office. Prizes are gift vouchers from Golf House for the top finishers in the general classification (gross places 1-3, and net places 1-3 in each of three handicap groups: WHI 0-16.4, 16.5-28.4, and 28.5-54) as well as in the Masters Senior classification (gross 1st place, net places 1-3) for players born in 1961 or earlier. The annual ranking is based on the best six gross or net results. The series concludes with a final event on September 20, 2026, which includes a shared meal and prize-giving ceremony. The tournament is handicap-relevant and subject to the ÖGV anti-doping regulations and data protection policies.
