Venue

Raintree Country Club

Hillsboro, MO, United States

Raintree Country Club is a public 18-hole, par-72 golf course located in Hillsboro, Missouri, approximately 30 miles south of St. Louis in Jefferson County. The course measures 6,122 yards from the championship tees and carries a course rating of 70.0 with a slope of 124 on Zoysia grass fairways. It sits within the Raintree Plantation gated community, a residential development featuring lakes and wooded terrain typical of the Missouri Ozarks. The layout is characteristic of the hilly Ozark landscape, with significant elevation changes, narrow tree-lined fairways, and a number of blind or semi-blind tee and approach shots requiring local course knowledge. The undulating terrain produces a variety of lies and angles throughout the round, placing a premium on course management over length. Water hazards and sand bunkers feature across the course. The current ownership, in place since 2012, has undertaken ongoing improvements to fairway conditions and overall presentation. The course plays to its slope rating despite its relatively modest yardage, with the hilly terrain adding effective difficulty beyond what the numbers suggest.
