The Worm Ball 2026 Friday Night Couple League is a fun, casual golf event held every Friday evening from May through October at Bowling Green Country Club. Open to any kind of couple (mixed, men's, or ladies' pairs), this is not serious golf – it's designed for enjoyment. Players compete in alternate shots (foursomes format) from tee to hole-out: whoever makes the putt gets to tee off on the next hole. Players make their own tee times between 4:00-6:00 PM. A $4.00 kitty fee applies per member couple, $2.00 for member singles (who will be paired up), $5.00 for non-member couples, and $2.50 for single non-member golfers (also paired up). Non-members also pay green and cart fees of $30. Ladies play from the most-forward tees; men play from their usual tees (junior and senior men from yellow tees, regular golfers from white or blue). The top 3 places win back money based on the number of participants. Winners are announced in the Monday newsletters and on signs around the club. All are welcome, making it a great way for new or learning golfers to have fun.
