Old Gentlemen Skaraborg

OG Skaraborg is a regional senior men's (Old Gentlemen) individual strokeplay competition open to golfers aged 64 and over from clubs in the Skaraborg region. The event runs as a series throughout 2026 with Mariestad Golf Club hosting on 27 August 2026. Players are divided into two classes: A-class for handicaps 0-18.4 and B-class for handicaps 18.5-54.0, both playing strokeplay. A team competition between clubs is also held, with the five best net scores per club added together. Entry is via MinGolf.se or directly to the hosting club by 16:00 on the Monday before the competition week. The entry fee consists of a greenfee of 200 SEK plus a start fee of 50 SEK (total 250 SEK). SGF cards, VGF cards, and other free passes do not cover greenfee. Players must indicate their correct class and tee on their scorecard. Points are awarded 1-25 in each class (winner 25, second 22, third 20, etc.). Prizes are distributed at the final event based on cumulative points, with class winners receiving prize money depending on the number of starters and the top 10 in each class receiving prizes according to an index table. Participation in at least 4 events is required for a complimentary meal at the final event.
