VGF Age Series H70

VGF Åldersseriespel H70 is a team strokeplay competition for male golfers aged 70 and over, held at Mariestad Golf Club on 13 August 2026. The event is part of the VGF (Västra Götaland Golfförbund) age series. Teams consist of 5 players, with the 4 best gross scores counting towards the team result. The competition is played as an 18-hole strokeplay event from the blue tees (or yellow if no blue tees are available). Entry is open to members of Swedish golf clubs affiliated with the Västergötland Golf Federation who hold a valid handicap. Members of Mariestads GK pay 225 SEK per person; members of other clubs pay 225 SEK plus a 250 SEK competition greenfee. Registration is conducted online via MinGolf.se, with teams required to register at least two days before the event date. The competition is run by Ulf Forsmark. Results are reported in the GIT system, and the club is recommended to offer food and drink after the round.
