The Asahi Beer Cup is an open individual competition held at Fuji Oyama Golf Club on August 18-19, 2026. The event uses the New Peria format (half-competition played over the front 9 holes) with stableford-style scoring. Scores are confirmed each hole and entered via cart navigation. Individual participants are welcome. The entry fee includes play with a caddy at ¥19,700 (tax included) or self-play at ¥15,900 (tax included). Prizes are awarded to 1st through 10th place, with additional awards for the birdie bonus (5th place birdie, or 10th place for beer cup events), Better Ball (BB賞), Best Match (BM賞), and a participation prize. Reservations open 4 months in advance for competitions. The event has available spaces.

Fuji Oyama Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hillside course located on the eastern foothills of Mount Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture, offering views of the mountain from every hole. Opened in April 1962 and designed by Shiro Nakamura, the course spans 792,000 square meters with a layout that maximizes natural terrain. The design features no blind holes, with fairways separated by natural pine forests and other vegetation, providing ample space for tee shots. While relatively flat, the course demands strategic play and full use of a 14-club arsenal, with numerous holes presenting considerable length. The course is characterized by diverse flora that showcases Japan's four seasons. Back tee yardages range from approximately 6,990 to 7,015 yards. Conveniently accessible from the Gotemba interchange of the Tomei Expressway and the Odakyu Shinjuku line, the course welcomes both public play and members.
