The TRR (Tambacher Rookie-Runde) is a weekly casual drop-in golf event held every Thursday at 6:00 PM at Golf-Club Coburg e.V. Schloss Tambach. Players meet at the driving range from approximately 5:30 PM for warm-up and range practice before playing a relaxed 9-hole round. The event is designed for beginners, returning players, and those with higher handicaps who want to enjoy relaxed 9-hole golf without pressure. No registration is required – participants simply drop in. Guests from other clubs are warmly welcome. The event emphasizes community, enjoyment of the game, and meeting new playing partners in a relaxed atmosphere. Flights are reorganized each week to pair players of varying abilities. Registered private rounds (früher EDS) may be played. The event is managed by Anja Falkowski, who also runs the TRR WhatsApp group for informal registration.
