Golfclub Meerssen

Limburg, Netherlands

Golfclub Meerssen is a nine-hole NGF qualifying course located in the picturesque South Limburgian hill country near Meerssen, Netherlands. Measuring 1,500 meters in total length, the course features seven par-3 holes and two par-4 holes, offering a relatively compact layout suitable for various skill levels. The course is set within a wooded, rolling hilly landscape that provides scenic views throughout the round. The terrain's natural elevation changes and forest setting create an attractive playing environment characteristic of the Heuvelland region. Founded on April 11, 1987 by Tony Dumoulin, Golfclub Meerssen operates as a private members' club with approximately 600 members across senior, junior, and country membership categories. The club is entirely volunteer-run and features its own clubhouse facility on the Heiveldcomplex grounds. As a qualifying course, Golfclub Meerssen maintains competitive standards while remaining accessible to its membership. The intimate nine-hole design allows for efficient play and serves both recreational and tournament purposes, as evidenced by its organized competition calendar including monthly cup competitions and match play championships.
