GC Salzkammergut Cup

The GC Salzkammergut Cup is an individual stableford competition held at Golfclub Salzkammergut Bad Ischl. The event is open to amateur golfers affiliated with the Austrian Golf Federation (ÖGV) or any foreign national golf association, with a maximum handicap (WHI) of 54. The competition consists of 18 holes played as a WHI-relevant stableford strokeplay.

The event features a general classification divided into three handicap groups (WHI 0–16.4, 16.5–28.4, 28.5–54), with prizes (Golf House gift vouchers) awarded to the top three gross and net scores in each group. A separate Masters division is available for players born in 1961 or earlier, with prizes for the top gross and net scores. Players eligible for the Masters division must choose whether to compete in the general or Masters classification before their first event, with no changes allowed during the season.

Entry is available online via the Austrian Golf Federation website (golf.at) or by email/phone to the club. The entry fee is €60 for guests (non-members) and €15 for members. A one-time participation fee of €50 applies for the overall classification upon first entry. Maximum 120 participants are allowed. Registration closes on July 15, 2026, at 12:00. Participants must book their own tee time and register on the day. This event is part of a year-long tournament series with a final scheduled for September 20, 2026, featuring a shared meal and prize ceremony.
