The New World Rototuna Sunday Open Series is a monthly golf competition held at Hamilton Golf Club (St Andrews) in 2026. The series is open to both members and visitors who hold an official Golf NZ handicap. Events are played on Sundays with shotgun starts, typically at 11:00 am or 12:00 noon depending on the month. The competition is played as a Stableford, with monthly prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in Gross, Net, and Stableford categories (prizes include gourmet meat packs and shopping vouchers). Additional prizes include Nearest the Pin competitions on the 3rd, 14th, and 18th holes, Longest Drive competitions for men and women, and a $250 Pro Shop Voucher via lucky draw. Monthly winners of the Gross, Net, and Stableford categories qualify for the Grand Final Hole in One Shootout on Sunday 15th November 2026, which offers a total prize value of $113,000, including a $100,000 Hole in One prize and a one-year $250 weekly shop at New World Rototuna. Tee bookings can be made in person at the Pro Shop or by email to shankgolf@outlook.co.nz, opening one month in advance. The River Kitchen Café is open from 8:00 am until at least 5:30 pm, and the club bar trades until at least 7:00 pm with member pricing available.
