Ladies Day is a regular weekly Thursday competition at Pender Harbour Golf Club. The event consists of 18 holes (the 9-hole course played twice) played in various formats with prizes awarded weekly. Public players are welcome. Guest rates apply: $51 green fee plus $11 cart seat, plus a $5 contribution to the prize pot. Lunch follows the round at a separate cost. All skill levels are welcome. Sign up singly or as a group. The course is a challenging 9-hole layout with significant elevation changes, located in Madeira Park, British Columbia.

Pender Harbour Golf Club is a 9-hole public course located in Madeira Park on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast, approximately three hours from Vancouver. Nestled beneath the majestic Caren Range, the course features multiple tees and varying elevations that accommodate players of all skill levels. The layout emphasizes strategy and accuracy, with short-game skills critical to success, though the rugged terrain proves deceptively forgiving. The course is characterized by panoramic views and distinct hole designs. Notable features include the challenging 4th hole, which plays straight uphill before descending to a plateau, then requires a shot over a gully to reach the green. The Vancouver Sun has praised it as "A Gem of a Course." Exceptionally maintained greens are managed according to environmental care standards. Established in 1986 and operated by member volunteers, the facility offers a covered driving range, short-game practice area, cart rentals, a Pro Shop, and The Clubhouse Restaurant with a scenic deck. The Sunshine Coast's mild climate allows golf play nearly year-round.
