The 2026 Lakeshore Motors Men's Labour Day Tournament takes place September 5-6, 2026, at Kirkland Lake Golf Club in Dane, Ontario. A practice round is available on Friday, September 4th. The tournament features a 1pm shotgun start on Saturday, September 5th, and a 12pm shotgun start on Sunday, September 6th. Entry costs $130 for members and $155 for non-members (plus HST). The entry fee includes a skins competition and a Saturday night supper. The event is open to both club members and visiting non-member golfers.

Kirkland Lake Golf Club

Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada

Kirkland Lake Golf Club is one of Northern Ontario's finest courses, located adjacent to Highway 112. The facility features a challenging 9-hole layout with a par of 36, complemented by a clubhouse, driving range, and pro shop. The course was originally established in 1930, with the first five holes constructed in summer 1931 and four additional holes added in 1934. The original course design was planned by J. Stokes of Timmins. The course hosts numerous events throughout the year, including the annual Labour Day Weekend men's tournament, which has been held since 1942. The club has a rich competitive history, with notable club records including an 18-hole course record of 63 (shared by Jed Allick and Steve Polyblank) and a 9-hole record of 27 by Merv Stoughton. The Morland Brothers left a significant tournament legacy, combining for 25 Labour Day victories between 1943 and 1987. The course is open to the public with tee times required and appropriate attire enforced.
