A casual 9-hole co-ed drop-in league held on Wednesdays at Cheboygan Golf & Country Club. The public is welcome to participate. Players make their own tee time between 4:30-6:30pm and play with whoever is available. Each player plays their own ball in 9-hole stroke play. At the end of the night, teams are randomly assigned and prizes are given out. The drop-in league fee is $5 plus greens fees. The first night of the 2026 season is May 27th. Cheboygan Golf & Country Club holds significant tournament history, having hosted the Northern Michigan Open for over 75 years—a prestigious two-day stroke play competition featuring the region's top golfers. The club added the Northern Michigan Women's Open in 2024. Additional signature events include the Lighthouse Classic, Women's Open, and Fall Classic, with a full calendar of tournaments and leagues accommodating all skill levels. The facility operates as a public course welcoming daily play while also offering membership options providing unlimited golf, reserved tee times, and reciprocal privileges through the Up North Golf Network.
