Recent course improvements include an extensive tree maintenance programme completed in 2022-2023, which opened up the layout and enhanced visibility of feature trees. Bunkers have been upgraded with "golden sand" to improve both aesthetics and playability. The course offers multiple tee options with varying difficulty levels: Blue tees play to 3,105 metres (CR 72.0, Slope 120), White tees to 2,956 metres (CR 70.4, Slope 115), and Yellow tees to 2,641 metres (CR 73.2, Slope 119). Named holes such as Hades, Valhalla, Olympus, and others reflect the club's thematic design. The front nine measures 3,105 metres (par 37), while the back nine is 2,892 metres (par 36), providing a balanced layout. The course is easily accessible via upgraded roading and motorway connections to Christchurch.
