The Wednesday Open Competition, sponsored by Conlon's/Keane BMW, is part of Millicent Golf Club's Open Singles series running for 20 weeks from Wednesday, April 1st to Wednesday, August 26th, 2026. Each weekly competition is an 18-hole individual stableford event open to both men and ladies. Weekly winners (both Nett and Gross) qualify for the Grand Final on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, where a prize fund of €2,000 is shared among the Top 5 Nett and Top 5 Gross winners. Entry fees are €7.00 for members, €25.00 for member/guests, and €40.00 for visitors. Golfers must hold a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies), or be able to play to an equivalent standard. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies; metal spikes are forbidden. Entry is available online via the club's booking system.

Millicent Golf Club is an 18-hole USGA specification championship course located in Clane, County Kildare, less than 30 minutes from Dublin.
