Ladies Open team competition at Brickendon Grange Golf Club on Wednesday 9th September 2026. Teams of 4 compete with the best 2 scores counting on each hole, playing off 85% of their handicap. Tee times from 9:00 am. Playing Handicap Index Limit of 34.6 – higher handicappers are welcome but must play off 34.6. Entry fee is £50 per person (early bird rate held at 2025 fee until 31st December 2025) or £200 per team of 4, which includes tea or coffee on arrival, half-way house refreshments, and a two-course rolling lunch. Changing facilities are optional; please advise any dietary requirements when entering. The event includes a charity sweep in aid of Carers in Hertfordshire. Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, plus a Nearest the Pins competition. Entries close on Wednesday 29th July 2026, or earlier if the event becomes oversubscribed. Brickendon Grange Golf Club is a private members' course set within 160 acres of mature Hertfordshire countryside, located 5 miles north of the M25 outside London. Designed by C.K. Cotton, the parkland course is rated among the finest in south England and provides a challenging layout suitable for all playing standards. The course is particularly renowned for its 17th hole, the "Ace of Herts," which was recently awarded the title of "the Finest Amateur Golf Hole in the UK." The course features superb greens with a reputation for being among the truest available, presenting a stern yet fair test of golf. The club, with over 600 members including men, women, and juniors, recently celebrated its Golden Jubilee. The peaceful setting within spectacular countryside provides an memorable golfing experience, complemented by the club's two function rooms offering scenic views across the grounds.
