The Friday Open Singles is a weekly individual stableford competition held at Ennis Golf Club on Fridays, running from early April through October. Open to both men and ladies (Gents and Ladies Singles), the event is open to members and visitors. The entry fee is €30 for visitors (€7 for members). Players compete as individuals (singles) in stableford format, with the option to play in groups of four from the tees. Tee times can be booked in advance via the online booking system. Each weekly winner automatically qualifies for the Grand Final in October, where they compete for a PowaKaddy electric trolley. The event is sponsored by Martin Ward Golf Ltd. Handicap limits: men 28 or less, ladies 36 or less. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies.
