Junior Open at Verulam Golf Club on Friday 14th August 2026. Open to both men and ladies juniors. Played as a medal competition (strokeplay) from the White tees for men and Red tees for ladies. Handicap allowance is 95%. Entry fee is £35.00 for visitors and £25.00 for members. Online signup is available, closing at 12:00 pm on 10th August 2026. An entry form is also available for download.

Verulam Golf Club is a par 72 course designed by James Braid in 1905, located in St Albans, Hertfordshire, in the heart of the historic town of Verulamium. The course is celebrated as the home of the Ryder Cup—the trophy was donated in 1927 by Samuel Ryder, a St Albans seed merchant and club captain, for the first official match between Great Britain and the United States. The club has operated as a thriving members' club for well over a century. Described as a mature course, it features well-maintained tee boxes, greens, and bunkers. While characterized as relatively short, it presents a challenging layout that remains a consistent test of golf. The course is situated in a pleasant setting typical of the Hertfordshire landscape, offering a welcoming environment for both members and visitors.
