The Verulam Senior Open 2026 is a team stableford competition for senior male golfers, taking place on Thursday 9th July 2026 at Verulam Golf Club, St. Albans. Tee time is from the Yellow tees. Verulam Golf Club is a par 72 course designed by James Braid in 1905, located in St Albans, Hertfordshire, in the heart of the historic town of Verulamium. The course is celebrated as the home of the Ryder Cup—the trophy was donated in 1927 by Samuel Ryder, a St Albans seed merchant and club captain, for the first official match between Great Britain and the United States. The club has operated as a thriving members' club for well over a century. Described as a mature course, it features well-maintained tee boxes, greens, and bunkers. While characterized as relatively short, it presents a challenging layout that remains a consistent test of golf.
