Taça Centenário

The Taça Centenário is a 36-hole individual strokeplay competition held at Oporto Golf Club on 27-28 June 2026. The event is open to all golfers affiliated with the Federação Portuguesa de Golfe (FPG) as well as foreign golfers affiliated with their respective federations, provided they present a handicap certificate no older than one month from the start date. The maximum handicap index for entry is 22; playing handicap is calculated at 95% of the course handicap (players with a handicap above the limit play off the maximum of 22). Winners are declared for both gross and net scores. In the event of a tie, either in gross or net classification, the last 18 holes are used as a tiebreaker; if still tied, the last 9, 6, 3, and final holes are used successively. If the tie persists, the player with the lower handicap wins; if still tied, the winner is determined by draw. Prizes are awarded in the order: 1st gross, 1st net, 2nd gross, 2nd net, etc., and prizes are not cumulative. Entry fees are €20 for club members, €10 for junior members, €50 for non-members, and €25 for junior non-members. Registration is conducted online via the club website.
