A senior pairs stableford competition held at Tankersley Park Golf Course on Thursday 3rd June 2027. Open to senior men golfers. Teams of two enter for £65.00 per team. Handicap allowance is 85%. Entry is online via the club's intelligentgolf system, with signup closing at midnight on the day of the competition (03/06/2027). The event includes prizes for Nearest the Pin on the 9th hole and Nearest the Pin in two on the 13th hole. A meal is included with the entry fee. The competition is open to visiting non-member senior golfers.

Tankersley Park Golf Club is located in High Green, Sheffield, on a site with a rich and varied historical heritage. The land has previously served as an oak forest, English Civil War battlefield, baronial deer park, coal and ironstone mining area, and tank testing ground. The course features a beautifully manicured layout that, while not exceptionally long, presents considerable tactical challenges throughout play. The club boasts a modern, well-equipped clubhouse with a 19th hole overlooking the course. The greens are noted for being quick and true, and pin placements are frequently positioned in tricky locations. The facility caters to casual visitors, small parties, societies, and experienced golfers alike, with a welcoming atmosphere from staff and members. The course is maintained to an excellent condition and is complemented by professional tuition and a club shop, making it a well-established sporting venue suitable for both casual play and competitive events.
