The Watson Trophy (Seniors Open) is an 18-hole individual Stableford competition for male golfers aged 55 and over, played at Blankney Golf Club from the Yellow tees on Tuesday 15th June 2027. The event is divided into three age groups: Under 65, Under 75, and Over 75. A 95% handicap allowance applies. The entry fee is £40.00 for visitors (£20.00 for members), which includes a one-course meal after the round; other food options will be available to purchase. Players enter into timed starting zones and will play in three-ball groups at the organiser's discretion. Prizes (awarded as emailed vouchers with no presentation) are given to at least three players in each age group plus an overall first-place prize. Entry is online via the club website or via Golf Empire. To be eligible to win a prize, players must have competed in at least three qualifying competitions at their home club within the previous 12 months. Signup opens at 12:00 am on 1st October 2026.
