The Veterans Open is a singles Stableford competition for golfers aged 60 or over, played from the Yellow Tees at West Surrey Golf Club with a 95% handicap allowance. Entry is online only with a fee of £100. Entrants must hold an active CONGU handicap certificate (max handicap index 25.9) and be a member of a club affiliated to the England Golf Union. The event includes 18 holes of qualifying Stableford. On arrival, players receive coffee and a bacon roll, followed by a two-course lunch after the round and a prize-giving ceremony. Nearest-the-pin prizes are awarded on selected holes, and the tie-break procedure is a back 9 count-back. The maximum field size is 90 players.
