Denver Senior Men's City Amateur

2-day, 18-hole stroke play flighted tournament at Overland Park Golf Course. Open to male amateurs aged 50 years or older. No Denver residency requirement. A verifiable GHIN Handicap Index issued under the World Handicap System is required; players who do not yet have one can obtain a GHIN number via coloradogolf.org. Championship Flight: players with a handicap index of 5.4 or lower are automatically placed in this flight; players with a 5.5–8.9 handicap index may opt into the Championship Flight. All other flights are for players with a 5.5–20.0 handicap index, assigned according to handicap index. A handicap of 20.0 or higher is not recommended as a competitive flight cannot be guaranteed. Flights are determined by the handicap revision dated 29 July 2026. Players may be re-flighted after Day 1 based on scores. Entry fee of $269 includes green fees and warm-up balls for both days; carts and caddie fees are not included. Registration opens 8 July 2026 at 9 AM and closes 29 July 2026 at 4 PM. Registration is online only; entries are not accepted at the pro shop. Space is limited; a waitlist operates once the field is full. Prizes are awarded to the top gross finishers in each flight. CGA sanctioned points event. Tie for flight winner decided by playoff on a designated hole or holes, beginning approximately 10 minutes after completion of play for the flight (subject to course availability). All other ties determined by scorecard playoff using USGA method (holes 9, 6, 3, 1). Caddies are permitted but must be registered prior to the registration close date and must wear the official tournament caddie bib throughout play.
