Denver Men's City Amateur Championship

3-day, 18-hole gross stroke play championship held at City Park Golf Course, Denver. Open to any male amateur of any age with a verifiable GHIN Handicap Index of 2.4 or lower (World Handicap System) as of the May 27, 2026 handicap revision. Denver residency is not required. Entry fee of $338.00 per player includes green fees and a warm-up range bucket; carts are available for purchase separately at the pro shop on the day of play. Registration is online only — entries are not accepted at the pro shop. Registration opens May 27, 2026 at 9 AM and closes June 10, 2026 at 4 PM; space is limited and registration closes when the field is full (a waitlist is available). Players found to have a handicap index of 2.5 or higher on May 27 will be withdrawn and refunded less a $20 processing fee. Cut is made after Round 2 (36-hole gross score); the top 68 players plus ties advance to the final round on Sunday June 21 (note: the 'When' section of the page also references 'top 60 players plus ties' — the Format section states 68). Caddies are permitted; caddies must be registered with Denver Golf before play begins and are required to wear a tournament caddie bib throughout play. CGA sanctioned points event. Withdrawal requests must be submitted by email to DenverCityAmateur@denvergov.org; refunds less a $20 service charge are available before the entry close deadline, 50% refund available until 4 PM the Wednesday before the event, and no refund thereafter.
