Denver Senior Men's City Amateur

2-day, 18-hole gross stroke play flighted tournament held at Overland Park Golf Course, open to amateur men aged 50 years or older. Denver residency is not required. A verifiable Handicap Index issued under the World Handicap System (GHIN) is required; players must have posted a minimum of five 18-hole scores prior to July 9th if registering for a new handicap. A handicap of 20.0 or lower is recommended — players with a handicap above 20.0 cannot be guaranteed a competitive flight. Players are placed into flights based on handicap index as of the July 29th revision; players may be re-flighted after Day 1 based on scores. Championship Flight is for players with a handicap index of 5.4 or lower (automatic) or 5.5–8.9 (opt-in). Entry fee of $269.00 per player includes green fees and warm-up balls for both days; cart and caddie fees are not included. Registration opens Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 9 AM and closes Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 4 PM. Registration must be completed online; entries are not accepted at the pro shop. Space is limited; a waitlist operates once the field is full. Ties for flight winners are decided by a hole-by-hole playoff (beginning approximately 10 minutes after completion of play for the flight, subject to course availability); all other ties are decided by USGA scorecard playoff (holes 9, 6, 3, 1). This is a CGA sanctioned points event. Caddies are permitted but must be registered prior to the registration close date and must wear the tournament caddie bib during play.
