The course was designed and supervised by three notable professional golfers: Nakamura Torakichi, Fujii Taketo, and Fujii Yoshimasa, each of whom made significant contributions to Japanese professional golf. The club has hosted several prestigious tournaments, including the 21st Japan Professional Golf East-West Match Play Championship in 1970, the Japan Women's Professional Golf Championship in 1974 (where Hideko Higuchi achieved her seventh consecutive victory), and the Asahi Ryokken Cup TVQ Senior Open Golf from 2008 to 2019.
