XXI La Cala Golf World Open

The XXI La Cala Golf World Open takes place from 30 November to 5 December 2026 at La Cala Resort, Spain. The tournament is played over three rounds across all three courses — Campo America, Campo Asia, and Campo Europa — with a shotgun start format and post-round three-course lunches included. Monday 30 November is a presentation and welcome cocktail dinner with live entertainment. Tuesday 1 December features a Texas Scramble (teams drawn by lot) on the America and Asia courses. Rounds 1–3 take place Wednesday to Friday. A Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony is held on the final evening (Friday 4 December). Open to all amateur golfers holding a valid licence from the Royal Spanish Golf Federation or a handicap certificate from any international golf federation. There are no handicap restrictions for entry, but the maximum playing handicap for scoring purposes is 26.4 for men and 36.4 for ladies (exact handicap). Competitors are divided into three categories, with the top three results in each category awarded prizes. Special prizes are also given for nearest to the pin, longest drive, and best scratch score, plus a prize raffle. The overall champion is the player with the best combined score across the three rounds. A tournament hotel package is available including 5 nights in a shared double room with breakfast (arriving 30 November, departing 5 December), programme meals with drinks, picnic bags during rounds, and 2 hydrotherapy spa circuits per person. Classic Double Room: €1,030 per person; Superior Double Room: €1,165 per person; Single Room Supplement: €325.
