Maclean Golf Club - Open Weekend 2026

The 2026 Open Weekend is a 36-hole individual strokeplay competition played over two days, Saturday 24 October and Sunday 25 October 2026. The event is open to all players with a Golflink number and Golf Australia handicap, including male and female full members, juniors, colts, and visitors. Men's play is divided into A, B, and C grades from the Black Tees, while the Women's Division plays from the Red Tees. Handicap grades are determined as follows: A Grade (+9.9 to 10.1), B Grade (10.2 to 18.1), and C Grade (18.2 to 45, with a maximum daily handicap of 45). The Women's Division accepts all handicaps with a maximum daily handicap of 54. Players remain in their starting grade for the duration of the event, though handicaps are adjusted daily. Sunday's round features a 9:00 am shotgun start. Tee times must be booked through the pro-shop or the online booking system. Prizes are awarded to all grade winners and runners-up for both Gross and Nett scores over the 2-day event, as well as individual daily prizes for the winner and runner-up in both Gross and Nett competitions. Players are eligible for only one major prize. The competition is subject to the club's local rules and the Rules of Golf.
