2026 Collegiate Peaks Open

The Collegiate Peaks Open is a two-day team event held at the Collegiate Peaks Golf Course in Buena Vista, Colorado. The event runs August 28–30, 2026. Day 1 (August 29) is a 2-person Team Best Ball Shamble and Day 2 (August 30) is a 2-person Team Best Ball. The tournament accommodates up to 48 teams divided into four flights by handicap. 80% of course handicaps are used for scoring. Teammate handicaps may not differ by more than 8 strokes. An active USGA handicap is required. Women may play from the forward tees. Schedule: Friday, August 28 – practice round (tee times must be booked in advance), 5:00pm Horserace ($50 per team separate entry, team alternate shot gross only with cash prizes to 1st and 2nd), 7:00pm mandatory rules meeting, 7:30pm social event and team auction. Saturday, August 29 – registration opens 6:00am, morning tee times 7:00am, afternoon tee times 11:30am. Sunday, August 30 – registration opens 6:00am, morning tee times 7:00am, afternoon tee times 11:30am, awards ceremony at 6:30pm. Entry fee: $500 per team. Registration closes August 21, 2026. Capacity: 96 players (48 teams).
