The Lloyd South Lakes BMW Texas Scramble is an open team competition held at Carus Green Golf Club in Kendal, Cumbria, as part of the club's CG Opens 2026 series. The event is a Texas Scramble format, open to both gents and ladies. Teams must consist of four players. Entrants must be members of a golf club affiliated to their local County and hold a current CDH (Central Handicap Database) number; iGolfers are not accepted. Men must have a handicap of 28 or less, and ladies must have a handicap of 36 or less. Entry is available online via the club's Golf Genius booking portal. Standard club dress code applies: collared shirts, tailored shorts, and golf shoes with metal or soft spikes. No football shirts allowed. Cancellation policy: cancellations more than one week before the event date incur no charge; cancellations less than one week in advance incur a 25% charge; cancellations within 48 hours receive no refund. Bookings are transferable.

Carus Green Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in Kendal, Cumbria, in the Lake District region of Northern England. The course features stunning views toward the Lakeland fells and is regarded as one of the best courses in Northern England. The layout includes recently remodelled PGA greens that present a challenging test for golfers of varying abilities. The PGA Academy features two bespoke Flightscope fitting rooms, an indoor putting lab, chipping green, and outdoor all-weather short game practice areas. The terrain takes advantage of the natural Lakeland landscape, offering panoramic views throughout the round. The course accommodates various player levels and hosts multiple competitions including Ladies, Gents, Senior, and Junior sections, plus opens competitions. The club also hosts Pro-Am events and provides professional golf instruction through its academy and specialist club fitting services using state-of-the-art technology.
