The Friendship Trophy is a mixed team competition held at North Inch Golf Course on Sunday 20th September 2026. Entry is open to anyone who plays regular golf on The North Inch, including members of affiliated clubs and social golfers. The event is free to enter. The format is a Florida scramble, where players enter individually and teams are made up by the organisers, consisting of mixed groups of men, women and juniors. The competition is intended as a fun day to meet and play with other course regulars. A draw will be made on Friday afternoon or Saturday ahead of Sunday's play, with tee times from 11:30am to 12:40pm. The round finishes with tea/coffee and a biscuit/cake at the golf starter's box. Players must hold a current CONGU handicap to enter open competitions at this course.

North Inch Golf Course is one of the world's oldest golfing venues, with recorded golf play dating back to 1599. Located on the North Inch parkland beside the River Tay near Perth, Scotland, the course offers an accessible challenge for players of all abilities. The course evolved significantly over its history, beginning as a 6-hole layout in the southern part of the park before moving northward in the early 1860s. It expanded through various configurations-6, 10, and 12 holes-before becoming the current 18-hole course. Part of the present layout was designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris in 1892. Set within a scenic parkland environment with river views, North Inch provides easy walking and enjoyable play. The course is positioned only a short distance from historic Perth, making it convenient for most Scottish golfers.
