Venue

North Inch Golf Course

Perth and Kinross, Scotland

North Inch Golf Course is one of the world's oldest golfing venues, with recorded golf play dating back to 1599. Located on the North Inch parkland beside the River Tay near Perth, Scotland, the course offers an accessible challenge for players of all abilities. The course evolved significantly over its history, beginning as a 6-hole layout in the southern part of the park before moving northward in the early 1860s. It expanded through various configurations—6, 10, and 12 holes—before becoming the current 18-hole course. Part of the present layout was designed by the legendary Old Tom Morris in 1892. Set within a scenic parkland environment with river views, North Inch provides easy walking and enjoyable play. The course is positioned only a short distance from historic Perth, making it convenient for most Scottish golfers. Known for delivering great value golf in Perthshire, North Inch features affordable green fees and offers amenities including free club hire for all ages and free junior play when accompanied by a paying adult. The course welcomes visiting golfers seven days a week and hosts various competitions including open events and hickory golf tournaments.
