The Men's Over 50's Better Ball Stableford Open is an open competition for men aged 50 and over, held at Ashby Decoy Golf Club on 28 August 2026. The format is team betterball (pairs) stableford, played off the Yellow tees, with the best score of each pair counting. The event is acceptable for handicap purposes. Entry is via online startsheet booking through HowDidiDo, closing on 26 August 2026. The visitor entry fee is £22.00 (member price is £12.00). All players must be current members of an affiliated golf club (iGolf membership is not acceptable) and hold a maximum handicap index of 30.0. To qualify for prizes, all players must have recorded a minimum of 5 competition scores (18 holes) on the WHS in the previous year or current year to date. Ties are resolved using a countback procedure (B9, B6, B3, B1, 17th Hole, 16th Hole, etc.). The club reserves the right to adjust tee-times, teams, and playing handicaps as necessary.
