The Jacklin Open is a men's individual singles strokeplay competition held at Ashby Decoy Golf Club on 2 August 2026. The event is played over 27 holes (18 holes + 9 holes) from the White Tees, with a handicap allowance of 95% of the Course Handicap. Players must be 18 years or over on the day of the competition. The maximum handicap for 18 holes is 14, and for 9 holes is 7 (equating to a maximum Handicap Index of 12.9). Entry is restricted to members of affiliated golf clubs (iGolf members not accepted). To qualify to win a prize, players must have evidence of a minimum of 5 competition scores (18-hole) on the World Handicap System in the previous or current year prior to the competition date (general play scores do not count). Ties are resolved using a countback procedure: 18-hole card, back 9, back 6, back 3, back 1, 17th hole, 16th hole, etc. The 18-hole portion of the competition is acceptable for handicapping. Entry fee for visitors is £25.00 (members £15.00). Booking closes on 26 July 2026 at 23:59. Payment is by credit/debit card with no refunds for cancellations made in the last 48 hours. Changes to booked teams must be made by phone or email.
