MLB OPEN – 3. Münsterländischer Jugend Teamcup

The 3rd Münsterländischer Jugend Teamcup (MLB OPEN) is a junior team tournament held at Golfclub Münster-Tinnen on Saturday, 19 September 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. Teams of three youth aged 9–17 compete in mixed flights, playing one individual strokeplay round and one classic foursome (foursome strokeplay) over 18 holes. Team results are the aggregate of both individual and foursome scores, with gross and net prizes awarded in three age classes: AK12 (average team age up to 12), AK14 (up to 14), and AK16 (up to 16). Age class is determined by the average of the three players' ages on the day of the tournament (maximum quotient 16.0). Maximum team handicap (sum of individual handicaps): AK12: 126, AK14: 108, AK16: 90. Maximum 24 teams (72 players). Teams may be formed freely regardless of age, gender, or club membership; each team must submit a team name and motto. Entry fee: €75 per team (€25 per player), including a tee gift (MLB OPEN hoodie), prizes, and a summer BBQ buffet with two drinks at the Come-together. After play, all participants are invited to the Come-together on the club terrace with a BBQ buffet (including vegetarian options), followed by the prize-giving ceremony. A bungee trampoline is available between the end of the round and the Come-together. The evening Players' Night event follows, open to parents and siblings. Parents may join the BBQ for an additional €25 per person, payable directly to the restaurant on the day; parents should indicate attendance when registering the team. Tie-break procedure: gross — team play-off; net — countback (computer playoff). Online registration opens Saturday 21 March 2026 at 12:00. Entry deadline: Sunday 3 September 2026 at 12:00. Entries accepted in chronological order; a waiting list is created once maximum capacity is reached. A companion 9-hole stableford junior tournament (MLB OPEN junior, €15 including green fee) is available for children up to and including age 12 with handicap between 54 and 36. A companion 9-hole stableford parents tournament (MLB OPEN parents, €40 including green fee) is also available for accompanying parents with a minimum handicap of 54.
