Slaget om Volstrup

Volstrup Golf Club's biggest annual tournament, held as part of the club's 20th birthday celebrations. This is an open pairs competition played over 18 holes using three different formats: 6 holes Greensome (holes 13–18), 6 holes Fourball (holes 1–6), and 6 holes Foursome (holes 7–12). Points awarded under Stableford rules throughout. Gun start at 09:00; tournament briefing at 08:30. The tournament committee will pair up players who do not register as a pair. Entry fee: 75 DKK per player, payable via MobilePay (736098) before the entry deadline, or in cash between 08:00 and 08:30 on the day. Non-members of Volstrup Golf Club must also pay a greenfee of 99 DKK. Members of Golfringen partner clubs play without greenfee. Start list published in GolfBox by 20:00 on 6 August. Scorecards: manual and electronic (where possible). Not handicap-adjusting. Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each of two divisions; nearest-the-pin prizes on 2 holes; two draw prizes for registered players not otherwise receiving prizes, who must be present at the prize ceremony. The prize ceremony takes place immediately after the tournament; prize winners must be present or the prize passes to the next player. Entry via GolfBox. Organised by the THOR committee. Includes breakfast at 09:00, cocktails at 15:00, and a roast suckling pig with dessert and music from 17:30 to 23:00 (music, cocktails, roast suckling pig and dessert cost 299 DKK).
